Cromer Carnival organizers and volunteers prepared another successful Christmas concert event, at Cromer Parish Hall, for senior members of the town.
Free coach rides were available from Suffield Park play area at 6.25pm, Links Avenue (Station Road end) and Suffield Park Post Office
For those who couldn’t get to coaches free transport was arranged, once again demonstrating the community spirit that’s a part of Cromer.
Coffee and mince pies were available on arrival and there was an air festive cheer, with Christmas crackers and decorations.
Tony Shipp MBE, chairman of Cromer Carnival welcomed guests in his opening speech and thanked volunteers for their work.
Local children provided the dancing and the comedy proceeded with local favourite, Pat Nearney. He was on top form and the master of mirth created laughter throughout his superb performance.
Over the years Pat has played numerous parts in musicals, straight plays and farces for his local society. Some excellent local musicians provided the sing along atmosphere. Cromer Seaside Strummers ukulele band were brilliant and the concert concluded with Christmas carols.
