Red Arrows will fly at Cromer Carnival in 2016

It has been confirmed that the The RAF aerobatic team will thrill thousands again this year at Cromer Carnival. Last year they were unable to make it because of commitments elsewhere.

Carnival chairman Tony Shipp announced they had received the news last Friday that the Red Arrows would perform, on the carnival’s parade day, Wednesday, August 17.

“It is a big highlight” explained Mister Shipp “I’m overjoyed, having missed last year. We are delighted. It means a lot for the town, and the tradespeople”

The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force based at RAF Scampton.

The team was formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands.
