Cromer Pier Show remains the last of its kind in Europe

Cromer Pier Pavilion Theatre is preparing for the coming summer season and the opening of its famous Cromer Pier Show now in its record breaking 38th year.

Opening on 21st June the ‘End of the Pier’ show is the last of its kind in Europe where audiences are entertained by a line-up of traditional variety acts for the three-month summer season.

No other Pier in Europe can boast the same credentials, which makes The Cromer Pier Show a ‘must see’ experience for people of all ages.

Cromer Pier is a long-standing historical icon for the North Norfolk Coast and the Pavilion Theatre is now the only Theatre at the end of a Pier that has its own on ‘in-house’ production show every summer season.

The Cromer Pier Show, also known to many as ‘Seaside Special’ opens on June 21st and runs until September 20th. This year’s show features an all new line-up including comedian Paul Eastwood, impressionist Adam Daye, the multi-instrumental and vocal duo “Andante”, and lead vocalists Louis Yssel and Jane Watkins, who makes a welcome return after her amazing Christmas Show appearance.

The Summer Show wouldn’t be complete without a full ensemble cast of talented dancers who will be leading the cast through a host of production numbers from some favourite West Shows. The Summer Show will be a visual delight with a blend of quality acts encompassing comedy, music, song and dance that are designed to appeal to people of all ages.

“I am passionate about putting Norfolk on the tourism map and raising the profile of a national theatrical landmark such as the Pier” Explained Jo “Norfolk is a beautiful place with everything you could possibly imagine on your doorstep. My dance and theatre background also means that every day it’s a joy to come and work on the Pier and help keep traditional Theatre alive”.
