Christmas is coming and that can mean only one thing on Cromer Pier, the opening of The Cromer Christmas Show. With ticket sales already exceeding this time last year, show producers Openwide Coastal Ltd are looking forward to another successful season.
Now recognised as one of the top family Christmas Shows in Norfolk, The Cromer Christmas Show boasts high production values, quality acts, stunning costumes, intelligent lighting and sound, all of which are equal to other Christmas productions seen across the UK. The added unique twist, however, is that it is the only one of its kind staged at the end of a traditional Victorian pier.
All round entertainer Olly Day returns for a record seventh year. His unique cheeky charm and superb singing voice have made Olly one of East Anglia’s finest performers and a firm favourite with Cromer audiences.
Appearing for the first time at the Pavilion Theatre is comedy magician Steve Zebs who, when not jet-setting around the world performing on cruise ships and at top hotels, lives in Gorleston. Performing at the Pavilion Theatre, Cromer is a dream come true for Steve and he is looking forward to treading the boards of this famous stage and working with the rest of the cast and making new friends.
Making a welcome return to The Cromer Christmas Show is vocalist and top ice skater Lulu Alexandra, who last appeared with Olly in 2012. Since then Lulu has been as busy as ever performing around the world and winning gold at the ISU International Artistic Skating Championships for the fourth year in succession.
Male vocalist Keith Pemberton is making his Cromer debut and is looking forward to spending his favourite time of the year performing at the Pavilion Theatre. Keith, who lives in Brighton, has performed at theatres across the UK and when he is not performing he can be found in his studio working with other singers as a vocal coach. He is also working on a new EP, which is due for release in the coming weeks.
The very talented and hard working Seaside Special Dancers, whose boundless energy and enthusiasm for their craft is self-evident as they demonstrate their versatility through various dance styles with dazzling costumes, blended with highly crafted light and sound, to create a slick and colourful performance no matter what the routine.
The Cromer Christmas Show is the must see family variety show, with ticket prices at an unbeatable ‘value for money’ price. A well deserved ‘Pier of the Year 2015’ winner, by the National Piers Society, Cromer Pier is an iconic North Norfolk landmark, drawing visitors in from far and near to take in the views and visit the Pavilion Theatre, famous for the longest running Summer Varity Show in Europe ‘The Cromer Pier Show’.
