Last week Hayley Massingham was named Miss Cromer. The 18-year-old from Cromer clinched the title at the annual competition held at the Cliftonville Hotel.
Hayley will be at the forefront of the carnival celebrations this August with Erin Holroyd, 17, from Aldborough, as her senior attendant.
On Friday May 2, The Cottage hosted the junior attendant’s competition that was won by 13-year-old Allyse Cook and Tasmin Beshir, 12, both from Cromer.
On Sunday May 4, The Community Hall hosted the Prince and Princess competition which was won by Sol Rivett and Hannah Muirhead, both seven, from Cromer.
Organiser Michelle Hedge said: “I’m delighted with this years turn out in all three events. It’s always a tough decision for the judges.
“We are overjoyed to welcome Hayley, Erin, Allyse, Tasmin, Hannah and Sol to this year’s Cromer Royal family line up”
The Royal Family will have a heavy schedule in the Cromer Carnival week which runs August 16 to 22.
Carnival Chairman Tony Shipp emphasised the importance of all entrants and is looking forward to working alongside this year’s Royals.
“They are one of our youngest groups of Royals, however, I’m certain they will do a great job representing our wonderful carnival and Cromer in general”
