The Cromer and Sheringham Crab and Lobster Festival cheque presentations took place at Constantia Cottage Restaurant on Sunday.
Festival chairman Tony Shipp and honorary president, Noel Gant handed over grants totalling £5,080 following the success of a miniature beach hut auction last year.
A total of 25 groups have benefited from the annual festivities which has raised more than £35,000 for charity in the last three years.
The organisations who received grants from the scheme were: The Cromer Mardlers,
Sheringham in Bloom, Back to the Drawing Board, Sing Your HeartOut,
Ladybird Pre-School Nursery, Playing for Cake, Love for Leo, Sheringham Museum,
Banningham Defibrillator Fund, Cromer Christmas Lights Volunteers,
1st Cromer Sea Scouts, Friends of North Lodge Park, Cromer RNLI, Waveney Stardust Trust, National Coast-watch Institution – East Runton, Cromer Academy,
Cromer Exhibition Foundation, Sheringham Woodfields School, Cromer Carnival Security Team, Sheringham Playpark Revamp, Roughton Under 5s Playgroup, Cromer Girl Guiding, Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society and Cromer and District Garden Society.
Many of the projects which were successful will be working with local children including 1st Cromer Sea Scouts, funding to refurbish the hall, Sheringham Woodfields School, with funds to introduce sensory lighting; Cromer Girl Guiding, with funding for hall maintenance; and the Cromer & District Garden Society, with funding their annual Schools Garden Competition.
Cromer Exhibition Foundation will use their grant to provide grants to Cromer school children who are going on to Further or Higher Education to help with course materials.
