The Royal Norfolk Show is an annual agricultural show, and is held by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association. It is the largest 2 day agricultural show in England, and has been held almost every year since 1847. This year was bigger and better than ever.
Innovation was a prominent theme at this year’s Show, with ground breaking ideas and technologies on display to boost the efficiency of East Anglia’s food and farming industries.
Main arena events included: Showjumping, Heavy Horses, Queen’s Colour Squadron and The Band of the Royal Air Force College, Scurry Driving, Bolddog Lings FMX Display Team, RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, Parade of Hounds, Grand Parade of Cattle, Sheep, Suffolk and Percheron Heavy Horses, Pigs and Goats.
Show president, David Richardson, presented the cup for the best trade stand to Carole Slaughter, Jarrold marketing manager at the Jarrold and EDP Norfolk with Fosters Solicitors stand during one of the fashion shows. It was well deserved, highlighting another superb fashion show by PSE (Production Services Entertainment)
HRH Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall arrived for a three-hour tour of the showground cheered up exhibitors and visitors.
